Bishop Peter Amigo was Parish Priest from 1901 to 1904 and he built the Church.
Canon Eugene Cotter was Parish Priest from 1937 to 1963.




Dr. Arthur Doubleday, Bishop of Brentwood was Parish Preist at English Martyrs from 1893- 1900.
He was Bishop of Brentwood from 1920- 1950.

Archbishop Michael Bowen was an assistant priest in the Parish from 1960 to 1964.
He was the last rector of St. Augustine's house.
