Carmelite Pilgrimage to Lourdes 22nd-29th August 2008
The British Province of Carmelites will be making a pilgrimage to Lourdes in this year when the Church celebrates the Jubilee of the 150th anniversary of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Saint Bernadette.We will be joining the Catholic Association Pilgrimage which has over a hundred years' experience of bringing able-bodied, sick and disabled pilgrims to Our Lady's shrine, thanks to its teams of volunteer helpers.
Travel will be with Tangney Tours by rail or by air, with accommodation available in a variety of hotels and the Accueil Notre-Dame house of welcome for some assisted (sick) pilgrims.
